The Church of St. Katharine
This really is a pretty church. I though that it was very unusual because it was made entirely out of wood - even the bell tower. Lovely and quaint.

The Animals of Ostrava Zoo
If you're hear with your family, then the Ostrava Zoo is really one of the best options. It was really quite good and we all enjoyed watching some of the animals being fed. It is on the Michalkovicka and easy to get to by trolley bus.

Komensky Park
if you have spent a long day walking around the city of Ostrava, you will find the Komensky Park a real haven and somewhere to recharge your batteries. Come here for a picnic or sunbathe on the banks of the River Ostravica.
